Production
I offer affordable professional music production for your original songs. I can create a professional mix by adding to one or more of your original tracks, or by creating everything you want.
I can even collaborate on song-writing, providing either the lyrics or music, and providing you with a fully-produced and finished track. I require a 50/50 songwriting split for these songwriting collaborations.
The Process
The Process is a simple one...
1 I begin by communicating by messenger or e-mail so we can both understand what is going to be accomplished and the cost to do it.
2 If I am using any of your tracks, I'll have you send them to me using We Transfer, a free service. For some artists, I simply use their YouTube video and extract the audio from it, or have them email me an mp3 of their song.
3 Based on our discussions, I will create a sample of what I envision the song to sound like, and I'll send it to you as an mp3.
4 If you feel the speed, pitch, instrumentation or other aspects are not to your liking, this is the time to let me know and I'll send a revised sample.
5 Once you have approved the sample, I will send the completed track to you. If you require individual track stems, I can do that too.
6 Payment is made via PayPal, either in US, Canadian, Australian funds or Euros.
Requirements
I have only one requirement when working with another musician or singer. Any music you create which I am to use, must be in tune. (A440) For example, I had someone send a song they wanted a sax added to, and their guitar tuning was somewhere between E and F. Please be sure your insruments are in tune.
Copyright
According to International copyright law, whoever composes the song retains copyright over the lyrics and music. In a situation where I have collaborated with a songwriter to provide either the lyrics, the music, or the backing tracks, a standard 50/50 songwriting split will exist. However, if I'm only making minor changes to your song, I consider that a part of the production process and have no claim on your songwriting royalties.
